Welcome to 2012 and to the first Presidents Blog of the year.

If you are one of our closer followers you will have noticed that things have been a little quiet over the latter part of 2011. Needless to say there has been a great deal of activity in the background aimed at preserving and enhancing the service.

 

To maintain a site that is free to the readers does of course mean that we need to get funding from elsewhere. These, as I am sure you don’t need me to point out, are difficult times and it appears these difficulties will be with us all for a while yet. We have therefore taken the opportunity to look at our funding and try to identify a reliable and persistent source for it. We now believe we have done this and though it will involve some changes for us it should maintain and expand the services we will be able to offer you.

We have used this ‘downtime’ to redesign the website and hopefully make it easier to navigate but with the same rich content. You of course will be the judge of that.
We still have some loose ends to tie up but if all goes to plan we should be making an exciting announcement in a few weeks time.
