A Review of the History of Customized Corneal Ablation (Custom LASIK)
Here is another case of a recent news announcement triggering my memory to enable me to bring some history to the forefront. In this case, Technolas Perfect Vision announced the FDA approval of its iris-tracking laser to improve LASIK outcomes. I was reminded that I was among the first to report on and track the rise of custom ablation.
