Welcome to Irv Arons' new Inside America Blog at the SCO. Mr Arons is a retired consultant to the ophthalmic and medical laser industries. Mr. Arons spent 25 years as a staff member of Arthur D. Little, Inc., the worldwide consulting firm. After ADL he formed Spectrum Consulting, continuing his work in ophthalmics and medical lasers, including publishing a monthly newsletter for the medical laser industry, Executive Laser Briefing.
Since December 2005, Mr Arons has been writing an online journal (Irv Arons’ Journal) making his content accessible to historians and researchers, as he was at the nexus of many of the important ophthalmic and medical laser technologies developed during the 1970s - 1990s.
More recently, he has been covering the latest developments in drugs and devices for treatment of age-related macular degeneration. We hope you will find his articles reviewing what's happening Inside America interesting. |
